Frequently Asked Questions

To access a title on eReadiness, you will need to create an account and redeem an access code. Once you’ve created an account, use the same email and password whenever you redeem new codes or access other titles on eReadiness.com.

To redeem a code to access a title, do the following:

  • Click the thumbnail of the title on eReadiness.com
  • Click the Instructor tab, then click Redeem Access Code
  • Redeem Access Code
  • Copy and paste the access code provided by your school
  • Complete the registration form when prompted, and be sure to remember the email and password you used

No. Once you’ve created an account, use the same email and password to redeem additional codes for other titles.

To redeem a code to another title, do the following:

  • Click the thumbnail of the title on eReadiness.com
  • Click the Instructor tab, then click Redeem Access Code
  • Copy and paste the access code provided by your school

Note: If you are not already logged in, click Log In With Existing Account to associate the new code with your account.

No. Once you’ve redeemed a code, you will have access to that title whenever you are logged in. To access a title that has already been redeemed, do the following:

  • Click the thumbnail of the title on eReadiness.com
  • Click the Instructor tab, then log in with the email and password you used when creating your account
  • I already have this title

No. Access codes are for teachers only. Codes allow teachers access to instructor-only resources and should not be shared with students.

You may be required to share individual resources with your students, however, by downloading them and distributing them to students.

Yes. Multiple teachers within the school or district (depending on the eReadiness site license purchased) can use the same access codes. However, each teacher should create their own account on eReadiness.com.

To log into your account, do the following:

  • Click the thumbnail of a title you have already redeemed on eReadiness.com
  • Click the Instructor tab, then log in with your username and password
  • I already have this title

OR:

  • Click the thumbnail of a title you have not already redeemed on eReadiness.com
  • Click the Instructor tab, then click Redeem Access Code
  • Copy and paste the access code provided by your school
  • Click Log In With Existing Account to associate the new code with your existing account
  • Log In With Existing Account

It is important that you redeem your purchased access codes once you receive them so that you will continue to have access to titles after the free trial has expired.

  • Click the Instructor tab, then click Redeem Access Code
  • Copy and paste the access code provided by your school

No. Students have open access to student resources without logging into an account. To access student resources, click the thumbnail of the appropriate title. Students are able to click the folders and files to download any student resource to their local or network hard drive.

Note: Some titles may not have any student resources.

To recover your login credentials, do the following:

  • Click the thumbnail of any title on eReadiness.com
  • Click the Instructor tab, then click Forgot Email / Password?
  • Forgot Email / Password?
  • Enter the email address you used to create an account and click Submit; you will receive an email resetting your account password.

To change your password, do the following:

  • Click My Account on the top right of eReadiness.com
  • My Account
  • Click My Password and complete the form to change your password
  • My Password

To log into your account, do the following:

  • Click the thumbnail of a title you have already redeemed on eReadiness.com
  • Click the Instructor tab, then log in with your username and password
  • I already have this title

OR:

To access instructor resources on eReadiness, you will need to create an account and redeem an access code. Once you’ve created an account, use the same email and password whenever you redeem new codes or access other titles on eReadiness.com.

  • Click the Instructor tab, then click Redeem Access Code

No. Instructor resources are password-protected and cannot be accessed by students through eReadiness.com. You may be required to share individual resources with your students, however, by downloading them and distributing them to students.

Yes. You can share individual resources with students by downloading them and distributing them to students through your school’s LMS or Google Classroom.

However, according to our Terms of Use, you agree not to share or distribute resources beyond a secure, school-sanctioned domain and/or network.

To access the eText of any redeemed title on eReadiness.com, click the title’s thumbnail, then click the Instructor tab. The eText link is located at the top of the Instructor tab.

To share an eText with students, do the following:

  • Download the eText from the link at the top of the Instructor tab to your local or network hard drive.
  • Open the .zip file and locate the PDF file(s) you would like to share
  • Upload the PDF file(s) to your LMS, such as Google Classroom or Schoology

Note: According to our Terms of Use, you agree not to share or distribute resources beyond a secure, school-sanctioned domain and/or network.

eTexts are provided in PDF format. For most titles, separate PDF files are provided for each Unit or Chapter, allowing you to share only specific sections with your students.

To access the eText PDFs, click the link at the top of the Instructor tab to download the .zip file to your local or network hard drive, then open the .zip file.

To open a .zip file using Windows, do the following:

  • Right-click the .zip file and select Extract All…
  • Select the location where you want to store the files, such as your Desktop, and click Extract

To open a .zip file on a Mac, simply double click the file. The contents of the .zip file will appear in a folder in the same location.

To view the eText, open the PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Reader or your internet browser.

Note: If you have issues viewing an eText using Edge, right-click the PDF file, select Open with, and select Google Chrome, Adobe Acrobat Reader, or another applicable program.

eTexts may be printed for instructor reference, however they may not be shared with any third party.

eReadiness does not directly integrate with Learning Management Systems (LMS), like Canvas or Google Classroom. However, you can easily include eReadiness resources and eTexts in an LMS course by doing the following:

  • Set up your lesson in the LMS, adding references to the eReadiness resources as needed
  • Download resources from eReadiness.com or copy resource links to include in your LMS lesson
  • Upload, insert, or otherwise link the eReadiness resources, including the student eText, into your LMS lesson using the appropriate LMS add-content tool

Yes. The eReadiness bundle allows you to access all of B.E. Publishing’s titles and all student and instructor resources by redeeming access codes. To redeem an access code for any title, do the following:

  • Click the thumbnail of the title on eReadiness.com
  • Click the Instructor tab, then click Redeem Access Code
  • Redeem Access Code
  • Copy and paste the access code provided by your school
  • Log into your existing account or create a new account

Access codes are valid for 12 months from date of account activation.
