new client...Ultimate Fitness!

Ultimate Fitness brings the real world of Web page design to your students. In this 20-32 hour simulation, the student takes on the role of the chief Web designer for Ultimate Fitness, a health and fitness club in need of obtaining a Web presence. Students are given the necessary content, information, images, and instructions to build a comprehensive, multi-page Web site for Ultimate Fitness. The simulation will challenge students to use their Web site design skills and creativity to build a Web site from scratch. Students follow a self-paced instructional program and receive guidance from the instructor.

Developed for use with industry-standard Web design software including:
Microsoft FrontPage^Ž, Macromedia Dreamweaver^Ž, Adobe GoLive^Ž, or any other Web design software application

	Students gain real-world experience in using the following Web site design skills and features: Hyperlinking text, buttons, and pages Designing and editing Web graphic images Creating Web site submit forms Creating Web site buttons to develop a navigation menu Using colors and design themes Building and designing a Web site navigation system Planning and decision-making skills Technical writing and editing
	To assist students in the production of their Web sites, the simulation is designed to work with a required resource CD that includes: Photo Image Library: An extensive professional fitness-related image library provided by ThinkStock Images, one of the largest suppliers of professional Web and print photography. All images are high-resolution quality in JPEG format. Ultimate Fitness Logos: Students choose one of a variety of Ultimate Fitness logo styles to use in their Web site. This logo becomes the basis for the Web sites color scheme and theme. The logos come in a JPEG format to allow for easy customization using any Web graphic image software application such as Adobe Photoshop^Ž. Instructor Resources: The resource CD also contains instructor resources including grading rubrics, forms, and handouts (available in printable PDF format).
Stresses Web Design and Creativity Skills: Students are provided with instructions, content, images, and design tips. The final design and layout of each Web page produced is up to the student.
